Passport and required documents
For EWA AIR international flights (Madagascar, Comoros, Tanzania), all passengers must be in possession of a passport valid for at least 6 months after the return date. The passport must have 2 blank pages facing each other.
For EWA AIR flights between Mayotte and Reunion, all French passengers must be in possession of a valid identity card or passport. For other passengers, a passport is compulsory (visa according to the rules in force for each nationality).
The passenger is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including visas and any special permits required by the laws and regulations in force in the countries of departure, destination or transit, and for complying with the requirements of the authorities of these countries with respect to immigration and border control.
Carrier shall not be liable for any consequences suffered by the passenger as a result of failure to comply with the obligations referred to in the above paragraph.
It is the passenger's responsibility to check with the relevant administrative authorities that this information is applicable to his/her situation.
With regard to health checks related to Covid 19, passengers must comply with the rules specified in HEALTH PROTOCOLS.

Since April 18, 2016, the Malagasy Border Police systematically asks passengers to present their travel memo (ticket) in paper version. It reserves the right to refuse entry into the territory to passengers who only have a digital version of their travel memo (ticket) This measure also applies to passengers departing from Madagascar.
